I’m Kolbe—an educator, researcher, and lifelong learner dedicated to making education more human and inclusive. My doctoral work focused on the role of cultural capital in Advanced Placement outcomes, reinforcing what I know to be true: exclusionary systems do exactly what they’re designed to do. It’s up to us—transformational thinkers—to reimagine and rebuild them.
My philosophy? Learning should be experiential, collaborative, and guided by those doing the learning. I draw on research, lived experiences, and a unique perspective shaped by my homeschool education and travels across the globe.
